ABOUT FACULTY OF MANAGEMENT
The Faculty’s academic engagement began with a focus on Urban Management, addressing long-standing gaps in professional capacity for city governance, infrastructure delivery, and service management. Over time, its scope has expanded to include real estate management, reflecting the importance of land and property markets in urban and regional development. The Faculty brings together experienced practitioners, policy professionals, and researchers with strong applied and scholarly credentials. Pedagogy is anchored in the studio method, combining field-based immersion with case-based learning, enabling students to engage directly with real-world managerial, institutional, and market challenges.

MBA in Real Estate (MRE) is designed to respond to the evolving needs of India’s rapidly formalizing real estate sector, shaped by accelerated urban growth. The program prepares professional managers for organized real estate by building strong capabilities in capital markets, land and property market dynamics, design differentiation, and sustainability. Drawing on CEPT University’s deep expertise in the land and built environment, firm level management, construction technology, urban systems, architecture, and building design, MRE integrates managerial rigor with spatial, technical, and design intelligence to develop leaders for real estate development, financing and investment, International Property Consultants (IPCs), and allied urban sectors.

MBA in Urban Management (MUM) program blends specialized urban knowledge with management principles to improve the social, technological, operational, and financial functioning of cities and towns. We prepare students to lead organizations managing human habitats in both the public and private sectors. Being housed in the CEPT ecosystem means our management program carries a unique orientation to the related disciplines of planning, architecture, design and technology.
